Business Travel Bookings Increased 3% for Domestic Flights, 6% for International Flights in 2024

SAP Concur analysis shows domestic business travel bookings increased nearly 3% year-over-year in 2024, while international bookings rose nearly 6%. July saw the largest domestic increase at 11%, and international travel grew significantly in January, February, April, July, and December. Domestic airfare remained elevated compared to 2023, with March averaging $597 and August dropping to $540; international airfare was flat in H1 but rose in H2, with December up 11%.
