Ras Al Khaimah Targets 80% Premium Hotel Inventory by 2030

Phillipa Harrison, CEO of the Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority, said the destination plans to shift from a value proposition to a premium one: only about 13.3% of current hotel inventory is luxury five-star, and by 2030 80% of keys are to be premium. This year adds the 258-key Rotana Ras Al Khaimah — The Mangroves; next year adds the 70-key Saij Mountain Lodge by Mantis plus the Wynn Al Marjan Island casino resort; the following year brings international names including Nobu, Janu, Fairmont, W Hotels, The Unexpected and Four Seasons.
