Ya'an Tea-Tourism Integration Drives Cultural Tourism Growth

China Tourism News reports that Ya'an in Sichuan is integrating tea plantations and giant pandas into cultural tourism products. The Qianli Jiangshan Tu scenic area in Mingshan District, featuring vast tea fields and a high-speed rail line crossing them, has received about 650,000 visitors this year. Qilong Village now has 17 homestays and a coffee shop attracting 200-300 visitors daily. According to Ya'an's culture, radio, television, sports and tourism bureau, A-level scenic spots received 15.7899 million visitors in H1 2026, up 11.38% year on year, with ticket revenue of 102.7683 million yuan, up 26.35%.
