Ten Departments Issue Measures to Boost RV Consumption with Nine Steps

• The State Council General Office forwarded the 'Several Measures on Promoting RV Consumption' issued by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and nine other departments, setting out nine measures that drew wide industry attention.

• The measures call for promoting RV campground construction in qualified scenic areas, resorts and along scenic byways; Inner Mongolia will include high-grade campground creation in key support from its tourism development special fund.
• The 24th Beijing RV World RV Camping Expo drew more than 31,000 visits over six days and saw over 300 RVs sold.
• Data from the RV branch of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers show 2025 sales of short-trip camping vehicles up 85.61% year on year and new-energy long-distance RV sales up 229%.
• Song Lei, secretary-general of the China Tourism Automobile and Cruise Association, said the policy helps clear bottlenecks and upgrade RV consumption from a niche hobby to mass consumption; the association will promote new models such as RV rental, shared RV living and vehicle custody.
