Beijing's Two Parks and One River Initiative Releases Ten Waterfront Vitality Scenarios

• On 21 September the fifth Western Beijing Development Forum and the Two Parks and One River coordinated development forum were held in Beijing under the theme of convergence and renewal.
• The regional enterprise alliance and the ticket-stub economy alliance were launched, along with ten waterfront vitality operating scenarios.
• Beijing Two Parks and One River Operation Development Co., jointly funded by Beijing Water Investment Group and the Fengtai, Shijingshan and Mentougou district governments, was unveiled.
• The regional operating platform company will coordinate waterfront space, infrastructure and cultural, commercial, tourism and sports resources to build a western Beijing waterfront living room.
• The regional enterprise alliance, led by the water investment group, invited more than 60 companies in its first batch.
• The ticket-stub economy alliance, led by the platform company with the three districts' commerce bureaus and tourism departments, links nearly 600 cultural, commercial, tourism and sports businesses.
• The ten waterfront formats include water sports, river cruises, onshore capsule hotels, study routes, water-culture programming, park economy, regional micro-transit, waterfront retail, sports training bases and smart park development.
• This year the waterfront space has largely taken shape, with the scenic shoreline from Shougang Park to Garden Expo Park fully connected.
