Agoda's analysis shows that during a major Asian sporting event held in Aichi Prefecture, Japan from September 19 to October 4, 2026, Nagoya City was the most searched accommodation destination, but surrounding cities like Toyota City and Ichinomiya City saw surges, with Toyota City up 715%. Among international markets, Taiwan had the highest search volume, while China saw a 724% increase.
