Marriott appoints Chris Buckner as loyalty SVP

Marriott International appointed Chris Buckner as senior vice president of loyalty, effective immediately. Buckner most recently served as executive vice president of product, loyalty and design at The Points Guy and previously held loyalty-related executive roles at PayPal and JetBlue. Marriott is expanding experiential loyalty offerings through sports, music, culinary and outdoor partnerships, including a recent NFL collaboration.
