    Royal Caribbean to Acquire 50% Stake in Sandals Resorts for About US$3 Billion

    Royal Caribbean Group and Sandals Resorts announced an agreement to form a joint venture to expand all-inclusive resort operations, with Royal Caribbean holding 50% of the joint venture. Under the terms, Royal Caribbean will acquire a 50% stake in Sandals and Beaches Resorts for about US$3 billion, corresponding to roughly 10 times forward EBITDA, backed by a debt financing commitment from Morgan Stanley. The transaction is expected to close in early 2027, subject to customary approvals and closing conditions, and is expected to be accretive to group earnings in 2027.     Accor CEO Weighs Ennismore IPO and Funding for U.S. Growth

    Accor CEO Sébastien Bazin said at Skift Global Forum in New York that Ennismore, its luxury-lifestyle joint venture, needs capital to grow in the U.S. and beyond, but the companies have not decided how to fund it. He called a listing a "very complex decision" with many drawbacks, and said another possibility is that Accor could put more money into it. Accor had given itself until the end of this month to announce a decision on its 62% stake in the joint venture, with analysts valuing Ennismore at $3.4 billion to $5.8 billion in a potential IPO.
