    Anhui Ancient Trail Cultural Exploration Reaches Qimen's Dahongling Trail

    On September 20, the Anhui Ancient Trail Cultural Exploration hike on the Dahongling Trail in Qimen was held in Qimen County, Huangshan, drawing more than 600 cultural tourism enthusiasts, outdoor experts, scholars and residents from Jiangxi, Shanghai, Sichuan, Hebei, Jiangsu and Zhejiang. The event released plans for three provincial demonstration events plus multiple local events in the second half of the year, and launched a photo/video contest and an online Huizhou ancient trail hiking challenge.

    September Off-Peak Travel Prices Drop 15%-20%; Seniors Account for Over 70%

    In September, tourism product prices generally fell from summer highs, with off-peak travel products down 15% to 20% this year; some routes from Lianyungang, Jiangsu, saw drops of 20-30% or even 50%. Among September travelers, those over 50 accounted for 72.2%, with those over 60 making up 53.3%.     Fengning Builds Horse-Culture IP to Drive Multi-Sector Tourism

    China Tourism News reported that Fengning County in Chengde, Hebei, is deepening a horse-culture IP based on its grassland landscape while integrating tourism with intangible heritage, agriculture, and wellness. Datan Town has more than 6,000 horses, one of China's highest township counts; the county introduced a subsidy policy with breeding subsidies and horse insurance. Fengning has built 41 heritage bases, workshops, and homestays, with annual intangible-heritage product sales exceeding 50 million yuan, over 550 training sessions, more than 120,000 trainees, and over 1,500 jobs.     Wudalianchi receives 573,000 visitors in H1

    On August 24, Wudalianchi Scenic Area released H1 data: received 573,000 visitors, up 19.2% year-on-year, including 192,000 recuperation visitors. The visa-free policy has made Russian tourists the main cross-border recuperation group, with foreign-related recuperation reception up nearly 80%.
