Commission greenlights Luxembourg's third €92.2 million payment request under NextGenerationEU
The European Commission positively assessed Luxembourg's third €92.2 million payment request under the Recovery and Resilience Facility, confirming completion of all 5 milestones and 4 targets. Flagship measures include support for 42,000 zero-emission vehicles, 25 MWp of photovoltaic capacity, digitalisation of five government entities, a cross-border quantum key distribution connection between Luxembourg and Belgium, and reforms in healthcare, biodiversity and anti-money laundering. The Commission has sent its preliminary assessment to the Economic and Financial Committee, which has four weeks to deliver its opinion.
