GBTA: Global business travel spending to break $2 trillion by 2030
At the Business Travel Digital Summit, GBTA gave its latest forecast: global business travel spending is expected to be slightly above $1.7 trillion in 2026, grow about 6% to about $1.8 trillion in 2027, and break $2 trillion by 2030. Over the same period, trip volume growth is only slightly above 1%, with spending growth clearly faster than trip volume; travel managers and TMCs need to reassess budgets and procurement strategies by value rather than by trip count.
