Survey Shows AI Adoption in Business Travel Is Outpacing Governance

SAP Concur's eighth annual Global Business Travel Survey reveals that 75% of business travelers use AI tools for trips, but 72% have used or would use unapproved 'shadow AI'. 85% of CFOs worry about employees using unapproved AI tools. 60% of CFOs report increased travel expense fraud, and 73% believe employees may use AI to falsify expenses. The survey covered 3,300 travelers in 21 markets, 800 travel managers, and 700 CFOs.
