    Agoda Partners with Kaohsiung City Government on Global Tourism Recognition

    Digital travel platform Agoda and the Kaohsiung City Government have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to support Kaohsiung's goals to elevate its profile as a global travel destination.     IHG Hotels & Resorts Expands LINE MINI App in Thailand and Taiwan

    IHG becomes the first hotel group to launch its own LINE MINI App in Thailand and Taiwan, following last year's Japan launch, accelerating its regional digital strategy. The app integrates booking for over 7,000 hotels, IHG One Rewards membership and management, with exclusive launch campaigns. LINE has 195 million monthly active users in Asia, including 56 million in Thailand and 22 million in Taiwan.

    U.S. State Department Updates Taiwan Travel Advisory: Level 1 Normal Precautions Maintained

    The U.S. Department of State updated the Taiwan travel advisory summary with no changes to the advisory level or risk indicators, maintaining Level 1: Exercise Normal Precautions. The advisory notes a risk of natural disasters in Taiwan, including earthquakes, tsunamis, typhoons, flooding and extreme heat.
