She said 6 million Palestinian refugees depend on UNRWA, and described the demolition of UNRWA's East Jerusalem headquarters and the forced evacuation of the Kalandia Training Centre as unacceptable.

    IHG to open coffee-inspired Noted Collection hotel in Amman

    IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed a franchise agreement with Jordanian coffee brand Al Ameed Coffee to bring its 21st brand, Noted Collection, to Jordan. The 50-key hotel in Amman sits on a key gateway corridor linking the city to Queen Alia International Airport, with a coffee reserve and experience centre on the first two floors and coffee-inspired touches throughout. IHG currently operates eight hotels across three brands in Jordan.

    Etihad Unveils New Airbus A330neo Cabins

    Etihad Airways unveiled new first, business and economy seats for its Airbus A330neo aircraft at the Arabian Travel Market, with the type scheduled to enter service from September 2027. First class will offer four lie-flat suites with closing doors in a one-two-one configuration; business will have 24 fully lie-flat, forward-facing seats with direct aisle access and sliding doors; economy will have 252 seats plus a 32-seat extra-legroom section with four inches of additional pitch.     Skift Travel Health Index: Middle East Recovery Stalls Again

    The Skift Travel Health Index stood at 99 in July, down 1% year-on-year. The Middle East and Africa fell back to 94 in July after recovering to the benchmark level of 100 in June.
