国家移民管理局微信公众号消息显示，今年中秋节假期全国边检机关共保障670.9万人次中外人员出入境，日均223.6万人次，较去年中秋节期间增长16.8%；单日出入境通关最高峰出现在9月26日，达234.2万人次。其中内地居民出入境320.6万人次，较去年同期增长5.3%；港澳台居民出入境277.5万人次，增长27.7%；外国人出入境72.8万人次，增长37.7%；入境外国人中适用免签政策入境24.7万人次，增长32.7%。全国边检机关共查验出入境交通运输工具30.9万架（艘、列、辆）次，较去年同期增长8.6%。

The 2026 Arabian Travel Market ran September 14-17 at Dubai World Trade Centre, with China's delegation exhibiting for a third consecutive year under the "Nihao! China National Immigration Administration data show inbound foreign arrivals rose 20.4% year on year in the first half, while travel services exports grew 31.1%. Shanghai General Station of Exit and Entry Frontier Inspection disclosed that as of September 9, exit-entry movements at Shanghai ports this year exceeded 30 million, with Pudong and Hongqiao international airports accounting for 28.239 million. The rise from 20 million on June 22 to 30 million took only 80 days. Foreign arrivals reached 4.732 million, up 19% year on year; 3.142 million, or over 66.4%, entered under visa-free or 240-hour transit visa-free policies. According to the National Immigration Administration, from January to August 2026, border inspection authorities processed 499 million inbound and outbound trips, up 8.7% year on year. This included 242 million trips by mainland residents, 196 million by Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan residents, and 61.287 million by foreign nationals, up 10%, 8.9% and 19.5% respectively. Visa-free foreign entries reached 23.72 million, accounting for 77.6% of total foreign entries and up 26.8% year on year. The administration said it will continue to promote immigration policy innovation and optimize border inspection models.
From January to July this year, Kunming received 924,500 inbound visitors, up 22.92% year on year. The Kunming border inspection station implemented six facilitation measures including 'one group, one policy' clearance, raising average port clearance efficiency by about 25% and cutting transit procedure time from 46 minutes to 6 minutes. In the first half of the year, Kunming airport port inspected 696,800 foreign entries and exits, of which about 261,600 entered under visa-free or transit visa-free policies. Kunming launched or resumed multiple international routes and introduced differentiated inbound tourism products.
