    Brazil ANAC publishes August average domestic airfare of BRL 776.87

    Brazil's National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) published its August airfare panel data on 22 September 2026. The real average fare across all routes and all carriers was BRL 776.87 per segment, up 14.5% versus August 2025 and 15.1% versus August 2024, in August 2025 values adjusted by IPCA. Jet fuel (QAV) averaged BRL 4.98 per litre, up 31.8% year on year and 10.4% versus August 2024.
