Hyatt expands Unscripted collection brand in North Carolina

Hyatt announced that Hive House, a 45-suite boutique hotel in Cary, North Carolina, will convert under its upscale Unscripted by Hyatt brand. Developed by Cary-based CMC Hotels as a different take on the traditional extended-stay experience, the property features oversized guest rooms with designated living spaces and fully equipped kitchens. It is Hyatt's first branded hotel in Cary and the latest addition to the Unscripted portfolio. Launched in May 2025, Unscripted is designed to let independent hotels keep their identity while tapping Hyatt's global scale, including the more than 66 million-member World of Hyatt loyalty program.
