The piece notes that iconic properties such as The Dorchester in London, Hôtel Plaza Athénée in Paris and The Beverly Hills Hotel in L.A. carry historical weight, and the challenge is to tighten and refine the basics without taking judgment away from the people who make each property worth returning to. At Phocuswright Europe 2026, Travelier CMO Mario Gavira and Magpie founder Christian Watts debated AI's impact on major travel brands.
