Crowne Plaza by IHG announced on 24 September 2026 the opening of Crowne Plaza Paris Marne-la-Vallée in Magny-le-Hongre, at the heart of Marne-la-Vallée. The hotel spans 2.5 hectares of landscaped grounds and offers 250 guestrooms and suites, most overlooking Golf Paris Val d'Europe. It sits about 40 minutes from central Paris and provides a complimentary shuttle to Marne-la-Vallée Chessy station and the region's theme parks. Event facilities include 1,500 square metres of flexible space, 14 meeting rooms and capacity for up to 400 delegates. The brand has 96 hotels and more than 20,400 rooms open across Europe, with a pipeline of 21 properties and over 4,300 rooms.
Accor announced on September 24, 2026 that its ALL Concierge conversational AI companion has moved beyond pilot to full-scale rollout, making it the first hospitality group to deploy an end-to-end conversational AI companion at scale. It covers the journey from travel inspiration and hotel comparison to booking management and post-stay support, available 24/7 on ALL.com, the ALL Accor app, WhatsApp and iMessage, in 11 languages, with responses in under a few seconds and seamless handover to human agents. Accor's MGallery Collection opened Nírema Hotel & Spa Samos in September 2026 at the entrance of Vathy on the Greek island of Samos. Accor announced that SO/ Berlin Das Stue, a 78-room boutique hotel housed in a heritage-protected former Royal Danish Embassy overlooking Berlin's Tiergarten, will transition to Sofitel Berlin Das Stue in Q1 2027, joining Sofitel's global luxury collection. The property will retain its Danish heritage and contemporary design while undergoing a curated enhancement program covering guestrooms, bedding, public spaces, signage, corridors and a reimagined lobby. The 202-room Garner Hotel Kota Kinabalu will be rebranded from King Park Hotel Kota Kinabalu, with 106 rooms opening in 2027 and 96 more in a second phase in 2029; the 140-room Holiday Inn Express Tawau will open in 2028 after refurbishment, becoming IHG's first hotel in Tawau.

Hilton introduced the Home2 Suites by Hilton Clean Energy Prototype, an optional, scalable hotel design concept for new U.S. builds that combines all-electric systems, renewable energy and high-efficiency building technologies. Based on modeling across 13 U.S. cities, the design is expected to cut annual energy costs by 18% to 40%, improve energy efficiency by about 30% and reduce operational carbon emissions by roughly 440 metric tons. Accor's boutique brand MGallery Collection announced the signing of Ink 48 in Manhattan, New York, as its U.S. flagship hotel. Located in Hell's Kitchen, the property has 222 guestrooms including 17 suites, a rooftop bar, a restaurant and about 6,000 square feet of meeting space. Following the signing, the hotel will undergo extensive renovation while continuing to operate independently, before officially joining MGallery in 2028 under Rebel Hotel Company management. The tournament runs from 1 October to 13 November 2027 in Australia and will be the largest edition to date, with 24 teams playing 52 matches across seven host cities. IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed a franchise agreement with Jordanian coffee brand Al Ameed Coffee to bring its 21st brand, Noted Collection, to Jordan. The 50-key hotel in Amman sits on a key gateway corridor linking the city to Queen Alia International Airport, with a coffee reserve and experience centre on the first two floors and coffee-inspired touches throughout. IHG currently operates eight hotels across three brands in Jordan.

NoMad Singapore, the brand's first property in Asia Pacific, is now accepting reservations ahead of its late 2026 opening. Located on Orchard Road, designed by WOHA with interiors by Kevin Klein Design, it spans 10,225 square metres and features 173 guest rooms including 25 suites across 12 levels. Developed with UOL Group, the project reimagines the former Faber House with a 14-story waterfall and vertical façade. IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed an agreement with long-standing partner Pacific Beachcomber to transform the InterContinental Bora Bora Resort & Thalasso Spa into Regent Bora Bora, marking Regent Hotels & Resorts' debut in French Polynesia. The resort closed on 1 June 2026 for extensive renovations and will reopen as Regent Bora Bora in late 2027 with 84 villas in an exclusively overwater setting on a private motu overlooking Mount Otemanu. The property will retain the world's first seawater air-conditioning system, which has cut the electricity otherwise required for air conditioning and refrigeration by around 90%.

Hilton announced the signing of 10 Spark by Hilton hotels across England and Wales, adding 672 rooms, under a strategic agreement with UK owner-operator AG Hotels Group. The properties span Cardiff, Coventry, Derby, Doncaster, Hull, Peterborough, Runcorn, Sunderland, Wakefield and Washington, with openings expected between late 2026 and 2028. Most sit near employment centres, transport hubs and logistics corridors. Hilton also signed with SMAR Hotels Ltd for Scotland's first Spark by Hilton in Dunfermline. Booking.com released its "Turbulence Test" research, based on a July 2026 survey of 1,253 U.S. adults. 35% of travelers say they discovered a companion was not compatible after traveling together, 35% have argued over money, 28% have considered ending the relationship or friendship, and 21% have bailed midway through a trip because of a bad travel partner (26% among Millennials). Hilton announced that Naples Grande Beach Resort will join the Signia Hilton portfolio as the brand's first hotel on Florida's Gulf Coast. The 474-room resort, including 50 villas, is undergoing the most significant transformation in its nearly four-decade history, and reservations are now open for stays beginning Jan. 1, 2027. Upon opening it will be Signia Hilton's third property in Florida, where Hilton has more than 540 hotels.
IHG Hotels & Resorts signed a Master Development Agreement with Australian developer ALAND, giving ALAND exclusive rights to develop Staybridge Suites in Australia with at least 15 hotels and a minimum of 2,000 rooms. The first two hotels are signed: the 130-room Staybridge Suites Sydney Parramatta and 112-room Staybridge Suites Sydney Leppington, both managed by Signature Hotel Management Group.
