    24th China Kunming International Flower Expo Opens 18 September

    At a 10 September press conference by Yunnan's provincial government information office, organizers said the 24th China Kunming International Flower Expo, 2026 Yunnan Coffee Expo, and 2026 Yunnan Tea Expo will run from 18 to 20 September at the Kunming Dianchi International Convention and Exhibition Centre. The flower expo covers 80,000 square metres with 8 professional halls, over 800 exhibitors from 21 countries and regions, and 28 side events. For the first time it has dual guest countries of honour: the Netherlands for flowers and Colombia for coffee, with Shandong as guest province for flowers.

    On the evening of 10 September, the 2026 'Leisure Sichuan · Autumn of Pingshan' culture and tourism promotion event opened in Pingshan county, Yibin. Under the theme 'Autumn Colors of Sichuan, Splendid Layer by Layer,' it showcased 92 autumn check-in sites, four layers of natural autumn scenery, five layers of cultural autumn themes, seven autumn activities and 42 Leisure Sichuan routes.
