    The UK government's official climate adviser, the Climate Change Committee (CCC), said this week that Heathrow expansion is not currently compatible with the UK's Net Zero target.     First Foreign-Invested Travel Agency Established in Manzhouli Area of Inner Mongolia FTZ

    On Sept 18, Manzhouli's culture, sports, tourism, radio and television bureau announced that Weixing International Travel Service Co., Ltd. was approved, becoming the first foreign-invested travel agency in the Manzhouli area of the Inner Mongolia Free Trade Zone. The company has registered capital of RMB 2 million, completed business registration on Sept 9, with Russian investor Tsvetkova? (transliterated) as legal representative, and obtained its travel agency business license on Sept 15. Foreign-invested travel agency access is a cultural tourism innovation pilot in the Manzhouli area, with multiple local departments coordinating to streamline approval.

    Jiangkou Sunken Silver Museum Receives Over 320,000 Visitors Since April

    The Jiangkou Sunken Silver Museum in Pengshan District, Meishan, Sichuan, covers about 13.3 hectares with 3 permanent exhibition halls and 1 temporary hall, and an exhibition area of 7,270.27 square meters. Positioned around the theme of a century's great archaeological discovery and new evidence of Ming Dynasty China, it displays over 76,000 artifacts recovered from the Jiangkou late-Ming battlefield site. Since ticket sales began in April, by the end of August it had received over 320,000 visitors, with a single-day peak of 8,200, generating over 13 million yuan in revenue.
